The Jingle & Mingle brought festive cheer to families with an afternoon full of holiday magic, from visits with Santa and cozy sleigh rides to carollers, a lively photo booth, and plenty of seasonal fun. We were delighted to host this year’s celebration at Hastings Lake Gardens & Events, creating a joyful setting to gather and celebrate.

We were proud to bring the Wood Solutions Conference to life once again. Showcasing forward-thinking advancements in sustainable building and fostering meaningful dialogue among industry leaders, the event continues to spotlight the evolving future of wood construction.

Hosted at Hastings Lake Gardens & Events, the annual Christmas Market brought holiday magic to life with twinkling lights, festive décor, and the joyful sounds of the season. Guests browsed handcrafted gifts from local artisans, enjoyed seasonal treats, and sipped warm beverages from Morning Brew (192).

Hosted at Hastings Lake Gardens & Events, the Patio Series brought the community together for afternoons of live music set against the backdrop of tranquil gardens. Featuring talented local artists, the series offered guests the chance to relax, connect, and unwind while enjoying great performances and refreshing beverages in a beautiful outdoor setting.

We’ve had the pleasure of planning numerous weddings at Hastings Lake Gardens & Events. From intimate to grand ceremonies, we’ve helped bring countless visions to life at this picturesque venue.

The Strathcona Food Bank (SFB) hosted its second annual fundraiser – the Nourish Gala. The event brought together local chefs, talented high-school culinary students, incredible entertainment, and a shared commitment to food security in our community.

We planned the greenhouse and market season opening at Hastings Lake Gardens & Events, bringing together the very best local vendors in a vibrant, welcoming setting. It was a celebration of community, connection, and creativity, designed to give guests a memorable experience from the moment they arrived.

The 22nd Alberta Health & Safety Conference took place in the Westin Calgary Airport in Calgary, Alberta. The conference was held over 2 days, and had a trade show component called The Safety Hall.

We planned the first annual Christmas Market at Hastings Lake Gardens, a festive day filled with unique vendors and holiday cheer.

We planned a Thanksgiving Floral Workshop at Hastings Lake Gardens, where guests created one-of-a-kind floral arrangements using fresh-cut flowers.

Surrounded by the lush beauty of Hastings Lake Gardens, we joined together as event planners for an evening of collaboration and delicious food.

The 21st Alberta Health & Safety Conference took place in the Feltham Centre at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. The conference was held over 2 days, and had a trade show component called The Safety Hall.

To celebrate 40 years, the Strathcona Food Bank (SFB) hosted its first fundraiser – the Nourish Gala. Held at the Agora in the Community Centre in Sherwood Park on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, the Gala brought together local chefs at their finest, inspiring high-school culinary students, dessert creations, live entertainment, raffle prizes and featured drinks.

This was our 2nd year planning the Borea Contruction Round Table. The management team met in beautiful Kananaskis, Alberta for their Round Table event. Everyone in attendance enjoyed team building, networking, learning about Borea’s future, and they revealed their new brand!

GO WEST is designed by event professionals for event professionals. We managed the Experiential Hall which is a tradeshow like no other that brings together the best that the events industry has to offer. Connecting event professionals in Edmonton at the Edmonton Convention Centre.

A specialized design and construction conference that is dedicated to showcasing innovative advancements and applications for wood products and building systems in design and construction. Leading-edge experts from near and far come inform and inspire industry professionals. This year’s conference was hosted at the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre in Calgary, Alberta.

Market 192 was proud to be part of Tofield Promenade which is held during Western Days. I was on the planning committee for Promenade, and helped with coordination and ideas for the event.

This was our second season of Market 192, a market bringing local vendors together for a summer season in Tofield, Alberta. We had a variety of vendors, entertainment, and food trucks throughout the duration. We’re excited to see what the 2024 season will bring!

The Inaugural Edmonton Tourism Awards, presented by Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels and Edmonton’s Best Hotels was designed to celebrate success, leadership and innovation in Edmonton’s tourism industry in key tourism areas critical to future success in the tourism industry. This luncheon was a pleasure to plan in partnership with CM Events. The afternoon was full of laughs, cheers and excitement as we celebrated Edmonton’s Best!

Event professionals from across Canada and beyond gathered for 3 days to build friendships and gain access to our industry’s global thought-leaders and resources. This event is Canada’s Event for Event Professionals, where we managed the Experiential Hall.

The Wood Solutions Conference and tradeshow brings industry professionals together for a day of learning and exhibition. This year’s event was hosted at the Fantasy Land Hotel.

On September 10, 2022, the Africa Centre hosted its 14^th Annual Africa Day Gala. It was a night of celebration of African culture, food, and music.

This was our first season of Market 192, a market bringing local vendors together for a summer season in Tofield, Alberta. We had a variety of vendors, entertainment, and food trucks throughout the duration. We’re excited to see what the 2023 season will bring!

This was our 6^th year planning the Alberta Health and Safety Conference and trade show. After a year off from in-person events, we were excited to get back! NAIT’s Productivity and Innovation Centre set the stage for this year’s event.

I was asked to plan a surprise 20th-anniversary vow renewal and wow did we pull off the surprise! Thank you to Vienna Intention Floral and Special Event Rentals for helping make this tropical vow renewal come to life!

This was our 5th year planning the Alberta Health and Safety Conference and trade show. This year we exceeded previous year’s records for attendees and vendors. I was able to increase their revenue by 60% from 2017-2019, which only included 2 conferences as 2018 there was no conference. The beautiful Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel set the stage for this year’s event.

2019 was our 4th year planning the Alberta Health and Safety Conference. We worked closely with our stake holders to launch a successful event in Edmonton as a result.

Polytechnics Canada events focus on sharing how polytechnic education can support the needs of Canadian employers.

Building Magic in the Air Gala celebrates the construction industry while also supporting  STARS. Planit Events has been on the planning committee since 2015.
